Description: The CD45 antigen is an essential regulator of leukocyte activation and development and is now known to be a protein tyrosine phosphatase, e.g., CD45 is able to dephosporylate the Src family of protein kinases. This activity is known to be required for signal transduction induced by T and B cell antigen receptor engagement, cytokine signaling, and Fc receptor stimulation. The functional state of CD45 also has a pronounced effect on lymphocyte development. CD45 exists in multiple forms, such as the restricted variants (CD45R; see companion products 1660, 1665, 1675, 1685 and 1820) and as allelic forms CD45.1 (Ly-5.1) and CD45.2 (Ly-5.2). The specificity of antibodies to CD45.1 and CD45.2 has been exploited in studies where resolution of donor and recipient cells is essential, such as in gene therapy or bone marrow transplantation. The monoclonal antibody 104 recognizes CD45 (leukocyte common antigen) on all leukocytes of mouse strains expressing the CD45.2 allotype (e.g., A, AKR, BALB/c, CBA/Ca, CBA/J, C3H/He, C57BL, C57BR, C57L, C58, DBA/1, DBA/2, NZB, SWR, 129).

Description: The monoclonal antibody 15-5-5 reacts with the H-2Dk class I alloantigen. It cross-reacts with H-2Kd and with cells from mice with the H-2f haplotype. The antibody does not react with other (e.g., a, b, p, q, r, s) haplotypes.

Supplier: Southern Biotechnology
Description: CD2, also known as leukocyte function-associated antigen-2 (LFA-2), is a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily of cell adhesion molecules. It is expressed on the surface of >95% of thymocytes, and essentially all B cells, T cells and NK cells. In the mouse, CD2 is the receptor for CD48. CD2 is thought to play a major role in mediating T-cell adhesion, T-cell recognition/activation, T-cell signaling, and intrathymic differentiation.

Catalog Number: (101442-952)
Supplier: Southern Biotechnology
Description: CD13, also known as aminopeptidase N, is a 150 kDa type II integral membrane glycoprotein. It is expressed on granulocytes, monocytes and their precursors, and on mast cells. CD13 is a zinc-binding metalloprotease that is involved in cell surface antigen presentation via its digestion of many MHC-bound regulatory peptides.

Catalog Number: (100243-904)
Supplier: Southern Biotechnology
Description: The monoclonal antibody 18d3 reacts with the mouse CD94 receptor subunit, a type II transmembrane glycoprotein. CD94 is expressed on the surface of NK cells, NK T cells, and some memory phenotype CD8+ cells. When CD94 is paired with NKG2A, C, or E subunit, it binds the nonclassical MHC class Ib molecule Qa-1b and results in a CD94high population by flow cytometry. Approximately half of NK cells do not express NKG2A, C or E; these cells express CD94 on the surface in a form that does not bind Qa-1b and is believed to be nonfunctional, producing a CD94low population by flow cytometry. CD94 is thought to play a role in the adhesion and activation of the NK cell lineage.

Description: CD104 represents the integrin β4 subunit that associates non-covalently with integrin α6 (CD49f) to form the α6β4 integrin heterodimer. The α6β4 complex is expressed on the basal surface of a variety of epithelial cell types particularly on stratified squamous epithelia. It is also found in peripheral nerves, in certain subsets of endothelial cells, and on immature thymocytes. It also has been found to be associated with a number of malignant tissues. Hemidesmosomal α6β4 plays an important role in the adhesion of epithelial cells to basement membranes via interactions with laminin and/or kalinin anchoring filaments. It is not known if the monoclonal antibody 346-11A can block this adhesion.
