Description: RANBP10 Antibody: The RAN binding protein 10 (RANBP10) is a cytoplasmic guanine nucleotide exchange factor that shares high sequence similarity to the MET-interacting protein RANBP9. RANBP10 is expressed in the cytoplasm of mature megakaryocytes (MKs) and platelets where it localizes to polymerized noncentrosomal microtubules. RANBP10 possesses guanine nucleotide exchange factor activity towards RAN, a GTPase involved in nucleocytoplasmic traffic, spindle formation at mitosis, and nuclear envelope assembly during telophase, suggesting that RANBP10 may also be involved in these activities. RANBP10 depletion in vitro caused the disturbance of polymerized filaments in MKs and platelets in RANBP10-null mice exhibited disorders in microtubule filament numbers and localization, indicating that RANBP10 may play a significant role in maintaining microtubule dynamics.

Description: Involved in the regulation of the microtubule (MT) filament system by destabilizing microtubules. Prevents assembly and promotes disassembly of microtubules. Phosphorylation at Ser-16 may be required for axon formation during neurogenesis. Involved in the control of the learned and innate fear.

Supplier: Prosci
Description: STEAP4 Antibody: The six-transmembrane epithelial antigen of prostate 4 (STEAP4) is a member of a family of metalloreductases identified as cell-surface antigens in prostate tissue. Similar to two other members of the STEAP family (STEAP 2 and STEAP3), STEAP4 promotes both iron and copper reduction. STEAP4 is highly expressed in placenta, lung, heart and prostate tissues, and overexpressed in prostate cancer cells compared to normal prostate cells. Overexpression of STEAP4 in prostate cells significantly increases cell growth and colony formation, suggesting STEAP4 may have a role in cell proliferation and prostate cancer progression.

Description: Brutons tyrosine kinase (BTK) is a member of the BTK/Tec family of cytoplasmic tyrosine kinases. All members of the family contain SH3 and SH2 domains and, with the exception of Txk and Dsrc28C, also contain a pleckstrin homology (PH) and a Tec homology (TH) domain in their amino termini.BTK plays an important role in B cell development. Activation of B cells by various ligands is accompanied by BTK membrane translocation mediated by its PH domain binding to phosphatidylinositol-3,4,5-trisphosphate. The membrane located BTK is active and associated with transient phosphorylation of two tyrosine residues, Tyr551 and Tyr223. Tyr551 in the activation loop is transphosphorylated by the Src family tyrosine kinase, leading to autophosphorylation at Tyr223 within the SH3 domain, which is necessary for full activation.

Description: The 3.9 monoclonal antibody specifically binds to the human adhesion glycoprotein CD11c, a 150 kDA integrin alpha chain also known as integrin alpha X. It is expressed on macrophages, granulocytes, monocytes, dendritic cells, natural killer cells, and subsets of B and T lymphocytes. The CD11c/CD18 complex associates with the iC3b, fibrinogen and ICAM-1 and has an important function in leukocyte adhesion.

Description: CTRP5 (C1qTNF-related protein 5; C1QTNF5) belongs to a highly conserved family of adiponectin paralogs. CTRP5 mediates activation of AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK) in muscle and liver cells, thereby regulating glucose and lipid metabolism. Serum levels of CTRP5 are significantly higher in obese/diabetic animal models compared to normal controls. Furthermore, CTRP5 may be a putative biomarker for mitochondrial dysfunction. Defects in C1QTNF5 are a cause of late-onset retinal degeneration (LORD).

Description: Insulin-Degrading Enzyme (IDE) is a secreted enzyme that belongs to the peptidase M16 family. IDE is a large zinc-binding protease and cleaves multiple short polypeptides that vary considerably in sequence. IDE plays a role in the cellular breakdown of insulin, IAPP, glucagon, bradykinin, kallidin, and other peptides, and thereby plays a role in intercellular peptide signaling. IDE degrades amyloid formed by APP and IAPP. IDE may participate in the degradation and clearance of naturally secreted amyloid beta -protein by neurons and microglia. IDE, which migrates at 110 kDa during gel electrophoresis under denaturing conditions, has since been shown to have additional substrates, including the signaling peptides glucagon, TGF alpha and beta -endorphin.
