Supplier: Diagnostic Biosystems
Description: This antibody reacts with the zymogen as well as the activated form of cathepsin D. It stains fibroblasts and macrophages strongly but stains weakly with the myoepithelial cells of breast. It stains the sweat ducts and glands in the skin, islets cells and granules of pancreatic acini.

Supplier: Diagnostic Biosystems
Description: The common acute lymphoblastic leukemia antigen (CALLA/CD10) is a single-pass type II transmembrane metallo-endopeptidase that cleaves and inactivates a variety of peptide growth factors important for signal transduction including the enkephalins, bombesin and substance P. CD10 is expressed by a number of hematopoietic cells such as immature T and B cells, B cells of the germinal centers of lymphoid follicles and granulocytes. It also reacts with a variety of non-hematopoietic cells, including epithelial cells in GI tract and kidney tubular. In liver, the bile canaliculi shows a moderate to strong staining. CD10 has been used for the identification and classification of certain types of malignant lymphoma and leukemia. CD10 is expressed in a high percentage of cases of acute lymphoblastic leukemia, follicular lymphoma, Burkitt's lymphoma, some hematopoietic tumors, and chronic myelogenous leukemias in lymphoid blast crisis. It is also known to be a marker of endometrial stromal cells. It is helpful in differentiating endometrial stromal sarcoma (ESS) from uterine cellular leiomyoma (UCL) and uterine leiomyosarcoma (ULS).

Supplier: Diagnostic Biosystems
Description: The progesterone receptor (PgR) is an estrogen-regulated protein. It has been proposed that expression of PgR indicates a responsive estrogen receptor (ER) pathway. A number of studies have shown that PgR determination provides supplementary information to ER, both in predicting response to endocrine therapy and estimating survival. PgR has proved superior to ER as a prognostic indicator in some studies.

Supplier: Diagnostic Biosystems
Description: ROS1 rearrangements occur infrequently in lung ACA, however given the frequency of lung cancer in the population, ROS1-rearranged tumors represent a significant number of cancer patients. ROS1 gene rearrangements are reported in 1 to 2% of lung adenocarcinomas (ACA) and are associated with response to the multitargeted tyrosine kinase inhibitor, crizotinib. ROS IHC can be readily incorporated into the diagnostic surgical pathology workup of lung adenocarcinoma, with results confirmed by FISH as needed.

Supplier: Diagnostic Biosystems
Description: Tissue Glue, Diagnostic BioSystems

Supplier: Diagnostic Biosystems
Description: This antibody recognizes an epitope located in the amino acid residue 410 to 419 of human oncogene product c-Myc. This antibody reacts with both components of the P62 and P64 c-Myc.

Catalog Number: (76634-348)
Supplier: Diagnostic Biosystems
Description: This antibody is specific to α-smooth muscle isoform of actin. It reacts with smooth muscle cells of vessels and different parenchymes. This antibody does not cross-react with β and γ-cytoplasmic, α-sarcomeric and α-myocardial actin isoforms.

Supplier: Diagnostic Biosystems
Description: This antibody reacts with a protein of 81 kDa. Ezrin serves as a tyrosine kinase substrate and is phosphorylated in EGF-stimulated cells. Ezrin is a cytoplasmic protein, enriched in microvilli and other cell surfaces. Ezrin has an actin-binding capacity. Ezrin is expressed in epithelial cells but not in mesenchymal cells. Ezrin is also expressed by certain epithelial tumors, such as renal cell adenocarcinomas.

Supplier: Diagnostic Biosystems
Description: Cytokeratin 20 is less acidic than the other type I cytokeratins and is of particular interest because of its restricted range of expression. This antibody reacts with cytokeratin polypeptide of 46 kDa in immunoblot analyses. Studies have shown that a marked difference exists in the expression of Cytokeratin 20 among various carcinomas.

Supplier: Diagnostic Biosystems
Description: This antibody reacts with wild as well as mutant types of P53 protein. It recognizes an epitope in the N-terminus of p53 protein, known to reside between amino acids 35 to 45. This antibody can be demonstrated in 22-76% of the colon, stomach, bladder, breast, lung and testes cancers.

Catalog Number: (76634-518)
Supplier: Diagnostic Biosystems
Description: This antibody reacts with herpes simplex virus type 2. It is specific for the viral glycoprotein D (gD) protein.

Supplier: Diagnostic Biosystems
Description: Myeloperoxidase metabolizes most of the hydrogen peroxide generated by activated phagocytes. This antibody stains strongly with the cytoplasm of myeloid cells. The antibody detects myeloperoxidase found in myeloid cells of acute myeloid leukemia. The myeloperoxidase gene has been localized to chromosome 17.

Supplier: Diagnostic Biosystems
Description: This antibody stains C cells of thyroid.

Catalog Number: (76634-256)
Supplier: Diagnostic Biosystems
Description: This pan actin is useful in identifying tumors arising from muscle cells, i.e., leiomyosarcoma as well as rhabdomyosarcoma.

Supplier: Diagnostic Biosystems
Description: Galectin-3 is a member of the beta-galactoside-binding protein family that plays an important role in cell adhesion, cell matrix interactions, macrophage activation, angiogenesis, metastasis, and apoptosis.

Galectin-3 shows strong diffuse cytoplasmic staining in most cases of papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC), most poorly differentiated thyroid cancers demonstrate galectin-3 protein expression while it is not expressed in anaplastic thyroid cancers. (1) Upregulated expression of galectin-3 is involved in cancer progression and metastasis, and it is suggested that Galectin-3 may be a valuable tool to support diagnosis of parathyroid carcinoma. (2)

Galectin-3 has also been reported to play important roles in the progression of prostate cancer, and their heterogeneous expressions might be associated with different cancer subtypes. (3)

Supplier: Diagnostic Biosystems
Description: This antibody reacts with the heavy chain present in all types of human IgM. It stains B cell follicles in human lymphoid tissues. In lymphoid tissues, IgM containing plasma cells stain strongly but immune complexes are usually undetectable.
