Sera (Serum)

Product is guinea pig serum, rapidly processed to preserve complement activity.

Guinea Pig Complement is suitable for use in hemolytic titrations and cytotoxicity assays, and as a serum protein control in immunoelectrophoresis, Ouchterlony immunodiffusion, and other immunoprecipitation techniques.
This product has not been absorbed, and should be tested for use in specific cytotoxicity applications.

The product gives a spectrum of normal serum precipitin arcs when tested by immunoelectrophoresis with anti-guinea pig serum. The product is tested for its ability to lyse red blood cells.
Pooled guinea pig serum is filtered through a 0.22 µm filter, vialed and lyophilized. No preservative is added.

Reconstituition instructions: Reconstitute product with 1 mL of deionized or distilled water. Gentle swirling may be used to speed rehydration. Avoid vigorous shaking of the reconstituted material
