Description: TIP47 Antibody: Tail-interacting protein (TIP47) is a cytosolic protein essential for the transport of mannose-6-phosphate receptors (MPRs) from endosomes to the trans-Golgi compartments in cells. TIP47 is recruited from the cytoplasm to the late endosomal surface by the Ras-associated protein Rab9 GTPase, enabling it to bind more efficiently to MPR cytoplasmic domains. Recently, it was shown that TIP47 regulates the expression of Rab9, as expression of siRNA to TIP47 in transfected cells dramatically decreased the half-life of the Rab9 protein in addition to stabilizing the subcellular localization of Rab9. At least two isoforms of TIP47 are known to exist.

Description: JPH1 Antibody: Junctional complexes between the plasma membrane (PM) and endoplasmic/sarcoplasmic reticulum (ER/SR) are a common feature of all excitable cell types and mediate cross talk between cell surface and intracellular ion channels. Junctophilins (JPs) are important components of the junctional complexes. JPs are composed of a carboxy-terminal hydrophobic segment spanning the ER/SR membrane and a remaining cytoplasmic domain that shows specific affinity for the PM. Four JPs have been identified as tissue-specific subtypes derived from different genes: JPH1 is expressed in skeletal muscle, JPH2 is detected throughout all muscle cell types, and JPH3 and JPH4 are predominantly expressed in the brain and contribute to the subsurface cistern formation in neurons. JPH1 is essential for stabilizing the T-tubule and SR membranes to form junctions and provide an environment for the assembly of receptors such as the ryanodine receptor type 1 (RyR1).

Description: Lipocalin-2, also known as Neutrophil Gelatinase-Associated Lipocalin (NGAL), is a secretory protein of the lipocalin superfamily. Lipocalin-2 contains a signal peptide that enables it to be secreted and form complexes with matrix metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9) through disulfide bonds. Similar to other lipocalin family members, Lipocalin-2 is involved in diverse cellular processes, including the transport of small hydrophobic molecules, protection of MMP-9 from proteolytic degradation, and cell signaling. Furthermore, Lipocalin-2 can tightly bind to bacterial siderophore through a cell surface receptor, possibly serving as a potent bacteriostatic agent by sequestering iron, regulating innate immunity and protecting kidney epithelial cells from ischemia–reperfusion injury. This protein is mainly expressed in neutrophils and in lower levels in the kidney, prostate, and epithelia of the respiratory and alimentary tracts. Recent evidence also suggests its role as a biomarker for renal injury and inflammation.

Description: NETO1 Antibody: Neuropilin and tolloid-like protein 1 (NETO1) is involved in the development and/or maintenance of neuronal circuitry. It is a type I transmembrane protein that is expressed in the brain and retina. NETO1 contains one LDL-receptor class A domain and two CUB domains and is either membrane-bound or secreted. It has three alternatively spliced isoforms, the first two of which are retina-specific and the third of which is found in both retina and brain tissue. Furthermore, as an accessory subunit of the neuronal N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor (NMDAR), it regulates long-term NMDA receptor-dependent synaptic plasticity and cognition, at least in the context of spatial learning and memory.
