Description: Thymic Stromal Lymphopoietin (TSLP) is a hematopoietic cytokine. TSLP is mainly expressed in the heart, liver and prostate. TSLP sends signals through a heterodimeric receptor complex, containing the TSLP-R and the IL-7Rα chain to induce the release of T cell-attracting chemokines from monocytes. It can induce allergic inflammation by directly activating mast cells. It also promotes T helper type 2 (TH2) cell responses associated with immunity, including atopic dermatitis and asthma, and can promote TH2 cytokine-associated inflammation by directly promoting the effector functions of CD4+ TH2 cells, basophils and other granulocyte populations while simultaneously limiting the expression of dendritic cells derived proinflammatory cytokines and promoting regulatory T cell responses in peripheral tissues. Recombinant human TSLP is a non-glycosylated protein with a molecular weight of 15 kDa. Anti-TSLP antibody is ideal for researchers interested in cytokines and stem cell research.

Description: Granulocyte Colony-Stimulating Factor, or G-CSF, is a growth factor that is considered the most potent inducer of terminal differentiation to granulocytes and macrophages of leukemic myeloid cell lines. The synthesis of G-CSF can be induced by bacterial endotoxins, TNF, IL-1 and GM-CSF. Prostaglandin E2 inhibits the synthesis of G-CSF, while in epithelial, endothelial, and fibroblastic cells secretion of G-CSF is induced by IL-17. Human and mouse G-CSF are cross-reactive. Recombinant mouse G-CSF is a non-glycosylated protein, containing 179 amino acids, with a molecular weight of 19 kDa.

Description: Anti-Mouse IgG1 Fluorescein Antibody generated in goat detects reactivity to Mouse IgG1 (Gamma 1 chain). Secreted as part of the adaptive immune response by plasma B cells, immunoglobulin G constitutes 75% of serum immunoglobulins. IgG1 chain constitutes 66% of the IgG subclass and has a high affinity for binding to the Fc receptor of phagocytic cells. Secondary Antibodies are available in a variety of formats and conjugate types. When choosing a secondary antibody product, consideration must be given to species and immunoglobulin specificity, conjugate type, fragment and chain specificity, level of cross-reactivity, and host-species source and fragment composition.

Description: Anti-Maltose Phosphorylase recognizes the protein maltose phosphorylase which belongs to the glycosyltransferases family. Maltose phosphorylase catalyzes the reaction in which maltose and inorganic phosphate are converted to D-glucose and beta-D-glucose 1-phosphate.

Description: The T cell immunoglobulin and mucin domain containing protein (TIM) family encodes cell surface receptors that are involved in the regulation of T helper (Th) -1 and -2 cell-mediated immunity. TIM-4, which is preferentially expressed on macrophages and dendritic cells, is the natural ligand of TIM-1, and this binding leads to T-cell expansion and cytokine production. Unlike other members of the TIM family, TIM-4 lacks a putative tyrosine phosphorylation signal sequence in its intracellular domain. The TIM-4 gene maps to a locus associated with predisposition to asthma in both mice and humans and with its connection to TIM-1-triggered Th2 responsiveness, may be considered as a candidate disease/predisposition gene for asthma.

Description: THEM4, also known as CTMP, binds specifically to the carboxy-terminal regulatory domain of PKB/Akt at the plasma membrane and acts as a negative regulator, reversing the phenotype of v-Akt-transformed cells. Hypermethylation of the THEM4 promoter and transcriptional downregulation of the gene has been reported in multiple glioblastomas, suggesting that epigenetic regulation of THEM4 may play a role in the progression of this cancer. Bioinformatic analysis, confirmed by in vitro testing, indicates that THEM4 is a broad-range, high activity acyl-CoA thioesterase. Recent reports have also indicated that TMEM4 is a mitochondrial protein whose overexpression is associated with an increase in mitochondrial membrane depolarization and caspase-3 and PARP cleavage, suggesting that THEM4 is involved in the apoptotic program.

Description: Rift Valley Fever (RFV) virus is an arthropod-borne virus endemic to Africa that infects humans and animals that is transmitted predominantly by mosquitoes (1). During human infections, symptoms can range from benign fever to severe encephalitis and fatal hepatitis with hemorrhagic fever. The Bunyaviridae family of viruses to which the RVF virus belongs are spherical enveloped viruses with a tripartite RNA genome of negative or ambisense polarity (2). The three segments are referred to as the L, M, and S segments. The L and M segments are negative polarity and code fore the L-dependent RNA polymerase and glycoprotein precursor respectively. The S segment is of ambisense polarity and encodes the nucleoprotein and non-structural proteins (3).
