Description: IRF7 antibody detects the human IRF7. Interferons (IFNs) are involved in a multitude of immune interactions during viral infections and play a major role in both the induction and regulation of innate and adaptive antiviral mechanisms. During infection, host-virus interactions signal downstream molecules such as transcription factors such as IFN regulatory factor-3 (IRF3) which can act to stimulate transcription of IFN-a/b genes. IRF7 has been shown to play a role in the transcriptional activation of virus-inducible cellular genes, including interferon beta chain genes. IRF7 play a major role in the innate immune pathway, interacting with the Toll-like receptor (TLR) adaptor proteins MyD88 and Tirp/TRAM and functioning as an intermediate TLR4 and TLR9 signaling. There are at least four differentially spliced isoforms of IRF7, although their function has not been clearly established. Anti-IRF7 antibodies are ideal for investigators involved in transcription factors, infectious disease and cytokines and growth factors research.

Description: PTPRF or leukocyte common antigen-related protein (LAR) is a widely expressed protein tyrosine phosphatase with an extracellular receptor region that resembles a cell adhesion molecule. PTPRF removes phosphate group from β-catenin, an event that may subsequently facilitate cell-cell adhesion and ensure the stability of the cadherin complex. This phosphatase has also been implicated in various cellular processes such as neurite growth, nerve regeneration, actin remodeling and regulation of insulin function (1,2,3,4). Anti-PTPRF (C-terminal) antibody is specific for the extracellular and cytoplasmic subunits of human PTPRF (approx. 210, 150 and 85 kDa). Detection of the PTPRF bands by immunoblotting is specifically inhibited by the immunizing peptide. Anti-PTPRF is ideal for researchers interested in Cell adhesion Cadherin-mediated cell adhesion pathways, PAK pathways, insulin resistance and ureterocele.

Description: Rockland produces highly active antibodies and conjugates to collagens. Collagens are highly conserved throughout evolution and are characterized by an uninterrupted ''Glycine-X-Y'' triplet repeat that is a necessary part of the triple helical structure. For these reasons, it is often extremely difficult to generate antibodies with specificities to collagens. The development of ‘type’ specific antibodies is dependent on NON-DENATURED three-dimensional epitopes. Rockland extensively purifies collagens for immunization from human and bovine placenta and cartilage by limited pepsin digestion and selective salt precipitation. This preparation results in a native conformation of the protein. Antibodies are isolated from rabbit antiserum and are extensively cross-adsorbed by immunoaffinity purification to produce 'type' specific antibodies. Greatly diminished reactivity and selectivity of these antibodies will result if denaturing and reducing conditions are used for SDS-PAGE and immunoblotting.

Description: Anti-Cholesterol Oxidase antibody is a member of the GMC oxidoreductase family. Cholesterol Oxidase acts as a catalyst in the oxidation of the 3-beta-hydroxy group of cholesterol and the isomerization of the double bond of new product. Anti-Cholesterol Oxidase is ideal for investigators interested in Metabolism, Signal Transduction, or Cardiovascular research.
