Description: The monoclonal antibody 27-11-13S recognizes with the α3 domain of H-2Db class I MHC antigen. The antibody cross-reacts with the α3 domain of H-2Dd, H-2Dq, H-2Ld and H-2Lq but not H-2Kb. Reactivity with haplotypes k, f, p, r, and s has not been observed.

Description: CD107a, also known as lysosomal-associated membrane protein 1 (LAMP-1), is a heavily glycosylated type I transmembrane protein that constitutes one of the two major sialoglycoproteins on lysosomal membranes that can be used to distinguish lysosomes from other organelles. It is a ligand for galaptin, an S-type lectin present in extracellular matrix, through its recognition of acetyllactosamine oligosaccharide chains and is a ligand for E-selectin-mediated cell adhesion. CD107a is principally expressed in epithelial cells and macrophages in a variety of organs in normal and beige mutant mice. It may function in protecting the inner surface of the lysosomal membrane by forming a barrier to lysosomal hydrolases.

Description: CD11b, the integrin αM subunit, combines with CD18, the integrin β2 subunit, to form the integrin Mac-1, also known as complement receptor 3 (CR3), which mediates adhesion to C3bi and ICAM-1/CD54. Mac-1 is expressed at varying levels on granulocytes, macrophages, dendritic cells, NK cells, and B-1 cells in the peritoneal and pleural cavities. Mac-1 expression is rapidly up-regulated on neutrophils after activation and in the same time period that CD62L is shed from the cell surface. In addition to its role in binding C3bi on opsonized targets and mediation of the subsequent ingestion process, Mac-1 is important as an adhesion molecule in the transendothelial migration of monocytes and neutrophils. Cross-reaction of M1/70 to human CD11b has been observed on monocytes, polymorphonuclear leukocytes, and NK cells.

Description: The monoclonal antibody 15-5-5 reacts with the H-2Dk class I alloantigen. It cross-reacts with H-2Kd and with cells from mice with the H-2f haplotype. The antibody does not react with other (e.g., a, b, p, q, r, s) haplotypes.

Description: The fibrillins are extracellular matrix glycoproteins which occur as a major component of a subset of connective tissue microfibrils. These microfibrils have a beaded appearance and a cross-sectional diameter of 10-12 nm. In elastic tissues, these structures are thought to provide the scaffold onto which elastin is assembled to form elastic fibers, although their function in non-elastic tissues is unclear. There is an aberrant expression of fibrillin in Marfan syndrome. The epitope for the monoclonal antibody 11C1.3 has been found to be within exons 18-20 (a.a. 723-909).

Description: CD3 is a member of the T cell receptor-associated CD3 complex. The monoclonal antibody CT-3 recognizes a complex of at least three polypeptides of Mr 20, 19, and 17 kDa (two of which are N-glycosylated) on chicken T cells. The antibody also coprecipitates a polypeptide of 90 kDa from digitonin solubilized T cell lysates, which can be reduced to two polypeptides of Mr 50 and 40 kDa.

Description: CD45R, also known as B220, a member of the protein tyrosine phosphate family and a major cell surface glycoprotein, represents a restricted form of the CD45 family which primarily recognizes only cells of B-lineage from pro-B cell through mature B lymphocytes and prior to the availability of anti-CD19 monoclonal antibodies was commonly used as a pan B-cell marker. It also reacts with certain activated T cells as well as non-MHC-restricted lytically active lymphokine-activated killer (LAK) cells. In vivo administration of RA3-6B2 has been shown to affect differentiation of both T and B cells in normal mice and reduce the level of anti-DNA antibodies and lymphadenopathies in MRL/lpr mice.
