Supplier: Bioss
Description: SLC25A13 is a member of the mitochondrial carrier family. It contains four EF-hand Ca(2+) binding motifs in the N-terminal domain, and localizes to mitochondria. It catalyzes the exchange of aspartate for glutamate and a proton across the inner mitochondrial membrane, and is stimulated by calcium on the external side of the inner mitochondrial membrane. Mutations in the SLC25A13 gene result in citrullinemia, type II. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.

Description: Neurocalcin-delta (NCALD) is a neuronal calcium-binding protein that belongs to the neuronal calcium sensor (NCS) family. It expressed in mammalian brains. NCALD contains an N-terminal myristoylation signal and four EF-hand calcium binding loops. The protein possesses a Ca2+ /myristoyl switch. It is cytosolic at resting calcium levels. However, elevated intracellular calcium levels induce a conformational change which exposes the myristoyl group, resulting in protein association with membranes and partial co-localization with the perinuclear trans-golgi network. NCALD protein is thought to be a regulator of G protein-coupled receptor signal transduction.

Catalog Number: (10486-432)
Supplier: Bioss
Description: Plays a role in mediating store-operated Ca(2+) entry (SOCE), a Ca(2+) influx following depletion of intracellular Ca(2+) stores. Acts as Ca(2+) sensor in the endoplasmic reticulum via its EF-hand domain. Upon Ca(2+) depletion, translocates from the endoplasmic reticulum to the plasma membrane where it activates the Ca(2+) release-activated Ca(2+) (CRAC) channel subunit, TMEM142A/ORAI1.

Catalog Number: (10094-080)
Supplier: Proteintech
Description: The S100 family is a multifunctional group of EF-hand type calciumbinding proteins. S100A14 protein (previously known as BCMP84, S100A15) is a recently identified member of the S100 family. It is differentially expressed in a number of different human malignancies like ovary, breast, uterus, kidney, rectum and colon cancers, and esophageal and oral squamous cell carcinomas (OSCCs).

Catalog Number: (75790-768)
Supplier: Prosci
Description: Allograft Inflammatory Factor 1 (AIF1) contains two EF-hand domains and exists as a homodimer. AIF1 can be detected in T-lymphocytes and peripheral blood mononuclear cells. AIF1 functions as actin-binding protein that enhances membrane ruffling and RAC activation and can enhance the actin-bundling activity of LCP1. In addition, AIF1 plays a role in RAC signaling and in phagocytosis and may also in macrophage activation and function. AIF1 promotes the proliferation of vascular smooth muscle cells and of T-lymphocytes and plays a role in vascular inflammation.

Catalog Number: (10253-866)
Supplier: Bioss
Description: Appears to regulate cell growth through interactions with the extracellular matrix and cytokines. Binds calcium and copper, several types of collagen, albumin, thrombospondin, PDGF and cell membranes. There are two calcium binding sites; an acidic domain that binds 5 to 8 Ca(2+) with a low affinity and an EF-hand loop that binds a Ca(2+) ion with a high affinity.

Catalog Number: (75935-400)
Supplier: Rockland Immunochemical
Description: Stim I antibody helps regulate calcium influx after the depletion of intracellular calcium stores. It functions as a calcium sensor in the endoplasmic reticulum via its EF-hand domain. After depletion of Ca+2, it is translocated from the endoplasmic reticulum to the plasma membrane so the calicum release-activated channel subunit is activated. Anti-Stim I antibody is ideal for investigators interested in Metabolism and Signal Transduction research.
