Supplier: Prosci
Description: HNRPLL contains 3 RRM (RNA recognition motif) domains and may bind RNA and plays a role in mRNA processing.

Supplier: QUALITY BIOLOGICAL, INC.
Description: TE is composed of buffering agent Tris, and chelating agent EDTA. EDTA prevents degradation of DNA and RNA by chelating magnesium (or other divalent metal ions). Together, this Tris-EDTA based solution solubilizes DNA or RNA, while protecting it from degradation.

Supplier: Bioss
Description: Eukaryotic RNA polymerase II mediates the synthesis of mature and functional messenger RNA. This is a multistep process, called the transcription cycle, that includes five stages: preinitiation, promoter, clearance, elongation and termination. Elongation is thought to be a critical stage for the regulation of gene expression. ELL (11-19 lysine-rich leukemia protein), also designated MEN, functions as an RNA polymerase II elongation factor that increases the rate of transcription by suppressing transient pausing by RNA polymerase II. It is also thought to regulate cellular proliferation. ELL is abundantly expressed in peripheral blood leukocytes, skeletal muscle, placenta and testis, with lower expression in spleen, thymus, heart, brain, lung, kidney, liver and ovary. ELL3 is a 397 amino acid nuclear protein that functions as an RNA polymerase II elongation factor that increases the rate of transcription by suppressing transient pausing by RNA polymerase II. Though similar to ELL and ELL2, ELL3 is exclusively expressed in testis.

Description: DEAD box proteins, characterized by the conserved motif Asp-Glu-Ala-Asp (DEAD), are putative RNA helicases. They are implicated in a number of cellular processes involving alteration of RNA secondary structure such as translation initiation, nuclear and mitochondrial splicing, and ribosome and spliceosome assembly. Based on their distribution patterns, some members of this family are believed to be involved in embryogenesis, spermatogenesis, and cellular growth and division. DDX19B is a DEAD box protein, which exhibits RNA-dependent ATPase and ATP-dependent RNA-unwinding activities. DDX19B is recruited to the cytoplasmic fibrils of the nuclear pore complex, where it participates in the export of mRNA from the nucleus.DEAD box proteins, characterized by the conserved motif Asp-Glu-Ala-Asp (DEAD), are putative RNA helicases. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.

Catalog Number: (10401-922)
Supplier: Bioss
Description: hnRNP F is part of the subfamily of ubiquitously expressed heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoproteins (hnRNPs). These are RNA binding proteins that complex with heterogeneous nuclear RNA (hnRNA) and appear to influence pre-mRNA processing and other aspects of mRNA metabolism and transport. hnRNP F binds to RNAs which have guanosine-rich sequences.

Catalog Number: (10402-538)
Supplier: Bioss
Description: ATP-dependent 3'-5' DNA helicase, component of the core-TFIIH basal transcription factor, involved in nucleotide excision repair (NER) of DNA and, when complexed to CAK, in RNA transcription by RNA polymerase II. Acts by opening DNA either around the RNA transcription start site or the DNA damage.

Catalog Number: (76102-098)
Supplier: Bioss
Description: This protein is part of the THO complex (THOC). The THO complex is recruited to transcribed genes and travels with the RNA polymerase during elongation. It may physically link proteins that function in transcription and in RNA export and RNA processing.

Catalog Number: (76011-552)
Supplier: Prosci
Description: Component of the Mediator complex, a coactivator involved in the regulated transcription of nearly all RNA polymerase II-dependent genes. Mediator functions as a bridge to convey information from gene-specific regulatory proteins to the basal RNA polymerase II transcription machinery. Mediator is recruited to promoters by direct interactions with regulatory proteins and serves as a scaffold for the assembly of a functional preinitiation complex with RNA polymerase II and the general transcription factors.

Supplier: Bioss
Description: May be a regulated effector of stress granule assembly. Phosphorylation-dependent sequence-specific endoribonuclease in vitro. Cleaves exclusively between cytosine and adenine and cleaves MYC mRNA preferentially at the 3'-UTR. ATP- and magnesium-dependent helicase. Unwinds preferentially partial DNA and RNA duplexes having a 17 bp annealed portion and either a hanging 3' tail or hanging tails at both 5'- and 3'-ends. Unwinds DNA/DNA, RNA/DNA, and RNA/RNA substrates with comparable efficiency. Acts unidirectionally by moving in the 5' to 3' direction along the bound single-stranded DNA.

Supplier: Prosci
Description: POLR2B is the second largest subunit of RNA polymerase II, the polymerase responsible for synthesizing messenger RNA in eukaryotes. This subunit, in combination with at least two other polymerase subunits, forms a structure within the polymerase that maintains contact in the active site of the enzyme between the DNA template and the newly synthesized RNA.

Supplier: Bioss
Description: Dioxygenase that demethylates RNA by oxidative demethylation: specifically demethylates N(6)-methyladenosine (m6A)RNA, the most prevalent internal modification of messenger RNA (mRNA) in higher eukaryotes (PubMed:23177736, PubMed:24778178,PubMed:24616105, PubMed:24489119). Can also demethylate N(6)-methyladenosine in single-stranded DNA (in vitro)(PubMed:24616105). Requires molecular oxygen, alpha-ketoglutarate and iron (PubMed:21264265, PubMed:23177736, PubMed:24778178,PubMed:24616105, PubMed:24489119). Demethylation of m6A mRNA affects mRNA processing and export (PubMed:23177736). Required for spermatogenesis (By similarity).
