Catalog Number: (75932-776)
Supplier: Rockland Immunochemical
Description: Upon antigen challenge, T-helper cells differentiate into two functional distinct subsets, Th1 and Th2. Th1 cells produce IL-2, IFN-gamma and lymphotoxin-beta that augment cell mediated immune response while Th2 cells secrete IL-4, IL-5, and IL-10 that enhance humoral immunity. The function of T-helper cells is regulated by cytokines. A novel cytokine receptor was recently identified and cloned. It is a new member in the type I cytokine receptor family and designated TCCR for T-cell cytokine receptor and WSX-1. TCCR deficient mice had impaired Th1 responses to protein antigen challenge, including decreased levels of IFN-gamma and Th1-dependent antibody IgG2a. TCCR is predominately expressed in thymus, spleen, lymph notes and peripheral blood leukocytes.

Supplier: Enzo Life Sciences
Description: The Hsp90 family of heat shock proteins represents one of the most abundantly expressed and highly conserved families of cellular chaperones whose expression can be upregulated under conditions of cellular stress, and includes cytoplasmic (Hsp90-alpha/beta), ER (grp94), and mitochondrial (TRAP1) localized members. Structurally, Hsp90 is characterized by an N-terminal ATP-binding domain, a medial substrate-binding domain, and a C-terminal dimerization motif. Hsp90 dimers function in cooperation with cochaperones (e.g. Hsp40, Hsp70, Hop, p23) to stabilize a multitude of client protein substrates, including steroid hormone receptors, protein kinases, and transcription factors. The essential binding and hydrolysis of ATP by Hsp90 is inhibited by ansamycin drugs (e.g. geldanamycin, 17-AAG) which occupy the N-terminal Hsp90 nucleotide-binding pocket. Many Hsp90 client proteins such as erbB2/Her-2, c-raf, bcr-abl, p53, and hTERT, are members of well characterized oncogenic pathways, making Hsp90 inhibitors useful anticancer agents.

Catalog Number: (RL209-406-B51)

Catalog Number: (10800-206)
Supplier: Rockland Immunochemical
Description: Autophagy, the process of bulk degradation of cellular proteins through an autophagosomic-lysosomal pathway is important for normal growth control and may be defective in tumor cells. It is involved in the preservation of cellular nutrients under starvation conditions as well as the normal turnover of cytosolic components. This process is negatively regulated by TOR (Target of rapamycin) through phosphorylation of autophagy protein APG1. ATG3 (APG3) is a widely expressed conjugating enzyme for APG8 lipidation, an essential step for the initiation of autophagy. It functions as an E2-like enzyme during the initial stages of autophagosome formation by catalyzing the formation of the Atg8-phosphatidylethanolamine (Atg8-PE) conjugate, which is critical for autophagy.

Supplier: Rockland Immunochemical
Description: Anti-Tyrosine Hydroxylase (Sheep) Antibody - 600-601-C98 Tyrosine Hydroxylase Antibody 100Ul

Supplier: Tonbo Biosciences
Description: The IM7 antibody recognizes CD44, a ubiquitously expressed cell surface receptor which is important for extracellular matrix organization, cell-cell and cell-matrix adhesion and migration. CD44 may be expressed in a number of different isoforms (splice variants) from the most typical or “standard” form, known as CD44s, to variants designated CD44v, e.g. CD44v1 or CD44v6. These receptors interact with several ligands, but most often associate with an extracellular matrix component hyaluronate, through which it mediates adhesion.
