Catalog Number: (10801-680)
Supplier: Rockland Immunochemical
Description: BACE2 antibody detects human amyloid-beta (Abeta) plaque. Accumulation of the amyloid-beta (Abeta) plaque in the cerebral cortex is a critical event in the pathogenesis of Alzheimer’s disease. Abeta peptide is generated by proteolytic cleavage of the beta-amyloid protein precursor (APP) at beta- and gamma-sites by proteases. The long-sought beta-secretase was recently identified by several groups independently and designated beta-site APP cleaving enzyme (BACE) and aspartyl protease 2 (Asp2). A BACE homolog was recently cloned and designated BACE2, Asp1, DRAP (for Down region aspartic protease), and memapsin 1. BACE2 also cleaves APP at beta-site and at a different site within Abeta. BACE2 locates on chromosome 21q22.3, the so-called ‘Down critical region’, suggesting that BACE2 and Abeta may also contribute to the pathogenesis of Down syndrome. Anti-BACE2 antibodies are ideal for investigators involved in Neuroscience and DNA Damage and Repair.

Catalog Number: (75928-890)
Supplier: Rockland Immunochemical
Description: Like interleukin-23 (IL-23), IL-27 is a recently discovered member of the IL-6/IL-12 family of proinflammatory and immunoregulatory cytokines. It exists as a heterodimer composed of the p40-related protein EBI3 and an IL-12 p35-related protein termed p28. IL-27 is produced after activation by antigen-presenting cells and induces proliferation of naïve but not memory CD4+ T-cells. It acts by binding to its receptor WSX-1 and gp130 which results in the activation of a Jak/STAT signaling cascade, suggesting the IL-27 is involved in the regulation of immune processes. It has been suggested that IL-27 can also be used as a therapeutic agent against cancer as it can also induce tumor-specific anti-tumor activity mediated through CD8+ T-cells, IFN-gamma, and T-bet.

Catalog Number: (75933-624)
Supplier: Rockland Immunochemical
Description: West Nile Virus (WNV) is a member of the Flaviviridae, a plus-stranded virus family that includes St. Louis encephalitis virus, yellow fever virus, and Dengue virus. WNV was initially isolated in 1937 in the West Nile region of Uganda and has become prevalent in Africa, Asia, and Europe. It has rapidly spread across the United States with cases being observed in every continental state. Virus particles consist of a dense core made up of the core/capsid protein encapsulating the RNA genome surrounded by a membrane envelope embedded with envelope and matrix proteins. However, when the viruses are inside of infected cells, the matrix protein exists in its "pre-M" form as a heterodimer with the envelope proteins. Cleavage of the "pre-M" protein to its mature form occurs during release of the virus; this cleavage leas to the dissociation of the heterodimers. The WNV receptor has recently been identified as alpha v beta 3 integrin.

Catalog Number: (10051-692)
Supplier: Tonbo Biosciences
Description: The 104 antibody reacts with mouse CD45.2, also known as Ly5.2, which is a strain-specific allelic form of the CD45 Leukocyte Common Antigen (LCA). Functionally, CD45 is a protein tyrosine phosphatase whose broad cell distribution supports a critical role in many leukocyte functions, including regulation of signal transduction and cell activation associated with the T cell and B cell receptors.

Catalog Number: (RL609-1203)
Supplier: Rockland Immunochemical
Description: Secondary Goat Anti-IgG F(c) Reacts with Human

Catalog Number: (10152-334)
Supplier: Immunoreagents
Description: ImmunoReagents’ FITC Conjugates are used in immunofluorescence microscopy, flow cytometry, FLISA (fluorescent ELISA) and high throughput screening assays. Fluorescein is typically excited by the 488 nm line of an argon laser, and emission is collected at 518 nm. FITC antibody conjugates are yellow-orange in color but emit a yellow-green color upon Em 518 nm. FITC antibody conjugates are sensitive to light. The typical FITC to antibody ratio (F/P) is >4.0 Excitation/Emission = 494nm / 518nm Emission Color = Green (Similar Dyes: Alexa Fluor 488, Cy2, DyLight ® 488)
