Description: GAB1 antibody detects GAB1 which is a member of the IRS1-like multisubstrate docking protein family. The protein is an important mediator of branching tubulogenesis and plays a central role in cellular growth response, transformation and apoptosis. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. GAB1 plays a role in intracellular signaling cascades triggered by activated receptor-type kinases. It is known to play a role in FGFR1 signaling and is probably involved in signaling by the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) and the insulin receptor (INSR). GAB1 interacts with GRB2 and with other SH2-containing proteins. It is known to interact with phosphorylated LAT2, PTPRJ, FRS2, GRB2, PIK3R1 and SOS1. GAB1 gets phosphorylated in response to FGFR1 activation. This tyrosine phosphorylation of GAB1 mediates interaction with several proteins that contain SH2 domains. Anti-GAB1 Antibody is ideal for investigators involved in Cell Signaling, Cancer, Neuroscience and Signal Transduction research.

Description: Interleukin-22 (IL-22) is a cytokine important for the modulation of tissue responses during inflammation (1). Unlike the distantly related IL-10, IL-22 does not inhibit the production of proinflammatory cytokines in monocytes in response to LPS, but it has some inhibitory effects on IL-4 production from Th2 T cells. IL-22 is expressed by both the adaptive arm of the immune system such as CD4 T cell subsets including Th17 cells, as well as by innate lymphocytes such as NK and LTi-like cells (2). IL-22 is highly expressed in several chronic inflammatory conditions, and studies suggest that IL-22 plays both inflammatory and protective roles (3).

Description: The CD14 glycoprotein, gp 55, is present on most monocytic and macrophage like cell types: monocytes, macrophages, Kupffer cells, pleural phagocytic cells and dendritic reticular cells. CD14 is also observed on granulocytes and activated or transformed B-cells. Furthermore CD14 is present in a soluble form in mouse serum, urine and other body fluids. The CD14 molecule has been reported to be a receptor for endotoxin.

Description: Junctional complexes between the plasma membrane (PM) and endoplasmic/sarcoplasmic reticulum (ER/SR) are a common feature of all excitable cell types and mediate cross talk between cell surface and intracellular ion channels. Junctophilins (JPs) are important components of the junctional complexes. JPs are composed of a carboxy-terminal hydrophobic segment spanning the ER/SR membrane and a remaining cytoplasmic domain that shows specific affinity for the PM. Four JPs have been identified as tissue-specific subtypes derived from different genes: JPH1 is expressed in skeletal muscle, JPH2 is detected throughout all muscle cell types, and JPH3 and JPH4 are predominantly expressed in the brain. In the CNS, both JPH3 and JPH4 are expressed throughout neural sites and contribute to the subsurface cistern formation in neurons. Mice lacking both JPH3 and JPH4 subtypes exhibit serious symptoms such as impaired learning and memory and are accompanied by abnormal nervous functions.

Description: Proline-rich protein 5-like (PRR5L), also known as Protor-2, is structurally similar to PRR5 and also binds to the mTOR complex 2 (mTORC2). PRR5L is not required for mTORC2 integrity or kinase activity, but dissociates from mTORC2 upon knockdown of tuberous sclerosis complex 1 (TSC1) and TSC2. Knockdown of PRR5L reduced apoptosis in mTORC2 deficient cells as well as cells where mTOR was active, suggesting that mTORC2-dissociated PRR5L may promote apoptosis, and thus play a role in the balance between cell growth and cell death.

Description: ImmunoReagents’ Alkaline Phosphatase (AP) antibody conjugates are used in ELISA, Immunohistochemistry (IHC) and Western blotting techniques. AP is a 140 kDa enzyme that changes color in the presence of PNPP or BCIP/NBT substrates. These conjugates have a linear reaction rate thus allowing the researcher to increase sensitivity by prolonging substrate incubation times.

Description: Napsin is found in two isoforms, A and B, with highly homologous gene sequences. Napsin A has a molecular weight of 35.0 kDa and is also known as TA02. Napsin A is an aspartic proteinase which is expressed in the lung and involved in processing surfactant protein B (SP-B). It is also expressed in the kidney. This antibody may be a useful tool as a tumor marker for primary lung adenocarcinoma. Napsin expression correlates with the differentiation grade of lung adenocarcinoma.

Description: Influenza A virus has one of sixteen possible hemagglutinin (HA) surface proteins and one of nine possible neuraminidase (NA) surface proteins. In early 2009, a novel H1N1 swine-origin influenza (S-OIV) A virus was identified in specimens obtained from patients in Mexico and the United States. The genetic make-up of this swine flu virus is unlike any other: it is an H1N1 strain that combines a triple assortment first identified in 1998 including human, swine, and avian influenza with two new pig H3N2 virus genes from Eurasia, themselves of recent human origin.

Description: Mouse CCR4 is the homolog of human CCR4 receptor (85% identical), binding macrophage inflammatory protein-1α (MIP-1α) and RANTES. Mouse CCR4 transcripts are expressed in the thymus and in T-cell lines.

Supplier: Tonbo Biosciences
Description: The PC61.5 antibody is specific for mouse CD25, a 55 kDa surface protein also known as the Interleukin-2 Receptor alpha chain, or IL-2R alpha. CD25 may bind IL-2 by itself, although with low affinity and without induction of cell signaling. CD25 is also expressed within a high-affinity complex, along with the IL-2R beta chain (CD122) and the common gamma chain (CD132), to form a signaling receptor complex. Expression of CD25 varies during developmental stages of T and B cells, is induced on activated mature T and B cells, and is present on subsets of dendritic cells. CD25 signaling as part of the IL-2 receptor complex triggers T cell activation and proliferation, as well as modulating the differentiation and function of Th17 cells, T regulatory (Treg) cells, and dendritic cells. The PC61.5 antibody is used as a marker for T cells, B cells and dendritic cell subsets. Expression of CD25, CD4 and the transcription factor Foxp3 is regarded as a phenotypic signature for Treg cells. As such, this antibody is widely used for depletion of Treg cells in vivo, as well as to distinguish Treg cells from naive or conventional T cells which are CD25-.
