Catalog Number: (75934-624)
Supplier: Rockland Immunochemical
Description: Iododeoxyuridine (5-Iodo-2'-deoxyuridine, IdU) is a synthetic thymidine nucleoside analog. IdU, like BrdU thymidine analog, is used to allow the detection of growing or proliferating cells in living tissues. During the S-phase of cell division, DNA replication occurs, and IdU can be incorporated into the newly synthesized DNA by substituting for naturally occurring thymidine. Antibodies specific for IdU are subsequently used to detect the incorporated IdU thymidine analog. This highlights cells that were actively replicating their DNA and is suggestive of actively growing cells. Antibody binding usually requires the DNA to be denatured, typically by exposing the cells to acid or heat.

Catalog Number: (10800-226)
Supplier: Rockland Immunochemical
Description: Basic helix-loop-helix (bHLH) transcription factors play important roles in differentiation processes during embryonic development of vertebrates. ATOH8 (MATH6) is a tissue-restricted member of the atonal superfamily of bHLH transcription factors that exhibits 43-57% identity in the bHLH domain with other mammalian atonal paralogs including the NeuroD and Neurogenin factors. In the mouse, ATOH8 has been implicated in the specification and differentiation of neuronal cell lineages in the brain and may also participate in kidney development. Recent studies show that ATOH8 is a novel component of the pancreatic transcriptional network during embryonic development and suggest a potential role as a modulator of the differentiation program initiated by the pro-endocrine factor Neurog3. It is indispensable for early embryonic development, suggesting a more widespread function for this factor in tissue-specific differentiation processes that are dependent on class II bHLH genes.

Supplier: Rockland Immunochemical
Description: COLLAGEN Type I Fluorescein Conjugated Antibody is specific for Collagen Type I. Collagen Type I (Type-I collagen) is the most abundant collagen of the human body. It is present in scar tissue, the end product when tissue heals by repair. It is also found in tendons, the endomysium of myofibrils and the organic part of bone. Anti-collagen Type I antibody is suitable for Cancer research and other general research.

Supplier: Tonbo Biosciences
Description: The HIB19 antibody reacts with human CD19, a 95 kDa glycoprotein which acts as a co-receptor, along with CD21, CD81 and CD225, in support of the functional B cell receptor (BCR). This complex provides antigen-specific recognition and subsequent activation of B cells to proliferate and differentiate into antibody-secreting cells (plasma cells) or memory B cells, which are crucial for secondary antigen encounter. CD19 is a lineage-differentiation marker, as its expression is detectable at the earliest B cell stages, through development, and is finally lost upon transition to mature plasma cells.

Catalog Number: (RL2004644S)
Supplier: Rockland Immunochemical
Description: Anti-Aldehyde Dehydrogenase (Yeast) (Rabbit) Antibody Biotin Conjugated - Anti-Aldehyde Dehydrogenase Has Been Assayed Against 1 Ug Of Aldehyde Dehydrogenase In A Standard Capture ELISA Using Peroxidase Conjugated Streptavidin.

Supplier: Enzo Life Sciences
Description: Various systems for the nomenclature of the proteasome subunits have been established. This may be a source of confusion as the system on UniProt differs from "standard" nomenclature as described in the literature. The UniProt ID and Gene Name will help to clearly identify the proteins.

Catalog Number: (75929-542)
Supplier: Rockland Immunochemical
Description: PTPRF or leukocyte common antigen-related protein (LAR) is a widely expressed protein tyrosine phosphatase with an extracellular receptor region that resembles a cell adhesion molecule. PTPRF removes phosphate group from β-catenin, an event that may subsequently facilitate cell-cell adhesion and ensure the stability of the cadherin complex. This phosphatase has also been implicated in various cellular processes such as neurite growth, nerve regeneration, actin remodeling and regulation of insulin function (1,2,3,4). Anti-PTPRF (C-terminal) antibody is specific for the extracellular and cytoplasmic subunits of human PTPRF (approx. 210, 150 and 85 kDa). Detection of the PTPRF bands by immunoblotting is specifically inhibited by the immunizing peptide. Anti-PTPRF is ideal for researchers interested in Cell adhesion Cadherin-mediated cell adhesion pathways, PAK pathways, insulin resistance and ureterocele.

Supplier: Diagnostic Biosystems
Description: Mutations in DNA mismatch repair genes are associated with hereditary nonpolyposis colorectal cancer (HNPCC). Initially, inherited mutations in the MSH2 and MLH1 homologs of the bacterial DNA mismatch repair genes MutS and MutL were found at high frequency in HNPCC and were shown to be associated with microsatellite instability. The demonstration that 10 to 45% of pancreatic, gastric, breast, ovarian and small cell lung cancers also display microsatellite instability has been interpreted to suggest that DNA mismatch repair is not restricted to HNPCC tumors but is a common feature in tumor initiation or progression.
