Catalog Number: (10800-374)
Supplier: Rockland Immunochemical
Description: Members in the Bcl-2 family are critical regulators of apoptosis by either inhibiting or promoting cell death. Bcl-2 homology 3 (BH3) domain is a potent death domain. BH3 domain containing pro-apoptotic proteins, including Bad, Bax, Bid, Bik, and Hrk, form a growing subclass of the Bcl-2 family. Bim is another BH3 domain containing protein which can induce apoptosis. Bim interacts with diverse members in the pro-survival Bcl-2 sub-family including Bcl-2, Bcl-xL and Bcl-w. The messenger RNA of Bim is ubiquitously expressed in multiple tissues and cell lines.

Description: MEK1 antibodies detect the MEK1 isoform. Mitogen-activated protein kinase kinase 1, also known as MKK or MEK, is an integral component of the MAP kinase cascade that regulates cell growth and differentiation. This pathway also plays a key role in synaptic plasticity in the brain. Activated MEK 1 acts as a dual specificity kinase phosphorylating both a threonine and a tyrosine residue on MAP kinase. The MEK1 antibody is ideal for investigators involved in Neuroscience, Cell Signaling and Cancer Research.

Supplier: Tonbo Biosciences
Description: The O323 antibody reacts with human CD27 (TNFRSF7), a cell surface homodimer of 55 kDa subunits, which provides co-stimulatory signaling in support of the T cell (TCR) and B cell (BCR) receptors. By comparison with CD28, whose TCR co-stimulatory signal can trigger cell proliferation, CD27 signaling appears to promote cell survival and differentiation to effector / memory stages. Also in contrast with CD28, the CD27 receptor may be shed following interaction with its ligand CD70, which is typically expressed on activated dendritic cells, T cells and B cells. With respect to B cells, CD27 is considered to be a phenotypic marker for memory B cells. CD27 has been included within a group of phenotypic markers for identifying human B regulatory cells (Bregs), a cell type proposed to regulate CD4+ T cell proliferation and Foxp3 / CTLA-4 expression in Treg cells.

Description: Anti-NEMO antibody was designed, produced, and validated as part of the Joy Cappel Young Investigator Award (JCYIA). Anti-NEMO antibody detects recombinant and endogenous NEMO. NEMO, the regulatory subunit of the IKK core complex, phosphorylates inhibitors of NF-kappa-B thus leading to the dissociation of the inhibitor/NF-kappa-B complex and ultimately the degradation of the inhibitor. Its binding to scaffolding polyubiquitin seems to play a role in IKK activation by multiple signaling receptor pathways. Nemo is also considered to be a mediator for TAX activation of NF-kappa-B and may be implicated in NF-kappa-B-mediated protection from cytokine toxicity. NEMO is essential for viral activation of IRF3 and involved in TLR3- and IFIH1-mediated antiviral innate response. The innate antivaral response from NEMO requires 'Lys-27'-linked polyubiquitination. Anti-NEMO is ideal for researchers interested in Immunology and Cancer research.

Supplier: Tonbo Biosciences
Description: The SK7 antibody is specific for human CD3e, also known as CD3 epsilon, a 20 kDa subunit of the T cell receptor complex, along with CD3 gamma and CD3 delta. These integral membrane protein chains assemble with additional chains of the T cell receptor (TCR), as well as CD3 zeta chain, to form the T cell receptor – CD3 complex. Together with co-receptors CD4 or CD8, the complex serves to recognize antigens bound to MHC molecules on antigen-presenting cells. These interactions promote T cell receptor signaling (T cell activation), inducing cell proliferation, differentiation, production of cytokines or activation-induced cell death. CD3 is differentially expressed during thymocyte-to-T cell development and on all mature T cells.

Description: Toll-like receptors (TLRs) are one of the mechanisms by which the innate immune system senses the invasion of pathogenic microorganisms. TLRs are primary transmembrane proteins of immune cells; they have an extracellular region which contains leucine-rich repeat motifs, and a cytoplasmic tail, which has a Toll/interleukin-1 (IL-1) receptor (TIR) domain. TLRs are pattern recognition receptors (PRRs ) that bind to pathogen-associated molecular patterns (PAMPs). Different TLRs recognize different surface and intracellular components of microorganisms or PAMPS. The interaction between a TLR and a microbial component or PAMP triggers the activation of the innate immune system, as well as the development of acquired immunity. Interaction of PAMPs with different TLRs induces distinct patters of gene expression through signal transduction pathways. TLR signaling occurs through the TIR domains which utilize adaptors such as MyD88, TIRAP, TRIF, and TRAM. NF-kappa-B and JNK pathways are activated leading to the transcription of genes encoding pro-inflammatory cytokines. TLR-10, originally identified from a spleen cDNA library, is on chromosome 4p14 and has been found to be expressed in lung and in B-lymphocytes. TLR10 is thought to be a potential asthma candidate gene because early life innate immune responses to ubiquitous inhaled allergens and PAMPs may influence asthma susceptibility.

Supplier: Rockland Immunochemical
Description: LPIN1, also known as PAP1, is a magnesium-ion-dependent phosphatidic acid phosphohydrolase enzyme that catalyzes the penultimate step in triglyceride synthesis including the dephosphorylation of phosphatidic acid to yield diacylglycerol (reviewed in 1). LPIN1 is required for adipocyte differentiation and it also functions as a nuclear transcriptional coactivator with some peroxisome proliferator-activated receptors to modulate expression of other genes involved in lipid metabolism (1,2). Mutations in LPIN1 are associated with metabolic diseases such as type 2 diabetes and recurrent acute myoglobinuria (3,4) and it is also a candidate for several human lipodystrophy syndromes (5).
