Bishop Harmon iris forceps are a pair of surgical forceps (tweezers) often used in ophthalmic procedures. They are designed specifically for use in the anterior portion of the eye to reach structures like the iris.

  • Surgical forceps
  • Straight tips
  • Fine, long tips for deep penetration
  • Serrated or 1×2 Teeth tip configuration for a firm, atraumatic grasp
  • Designed for ophthalmology, great for delicate microdissection and small animal surgery

Iris forceps are a small pair of forceps with a fine tip for grasping delicate tissue with minimal trauma. The narrow, serrated jaws of the surgical forceps allow for fine manipulation of structures like the iris of the eye. The 1×2 teeth give a secure grip of delicate structures with minimal trauma.

Researchers use these fine tipped tweezers for precision work in microdissection. These forceps are have straight tips. The iris forceps are manufactured with surgical grade stainless steel, premium German steel, or titanium, all of which are autoclavable.

The titanium forceps are:
- 100% Non-corrosive (great for seawater procedures)
- 100% Non-magnetic (MRI compatible)
- 40% Lighter than stainless steel (reduces hand fatigue)
- Forceps' tips are coated with tungsten carbide for increased gripping power
- Anodized, non-glare blue finish
