Vials
Vials are designed for low-temperature storage of biological materials.

  • Features low protein adsorption, low DNA adsorption
  • Ideal for cells and proteins, storage of DNA
  • Sterility Assurance Level (SAL) of 10⁻⁶
  • Pyrogen-free according to the LAL-test

Vials are also available with unique 14×14 array 2D coding. The 2D code is laser-etched into the polypropylene bottom of the vial and cannot be lost during storage. The cryogenic storage box (82030-530) is constructed of white cardboard and holds 169 vials in a 13×13 format.

Vials snap into a 96-place automation-compatible rack with a standard barcode to allow for automated manipulation and transport without the risk of losing samples. Vials are also available in loose bulk cases. Caps are internally threaded with a silicone gasket and feature a socket to allow opening and closing with a screwdriver. The dense storage format saves freezer space. Vials withstand temperatures from –196 to 121 °C (–321 to 250 °F).

Certifications: All vials are DNAse- and RNAse-free and are nontoxic according to USP class VI test. Vials conform to IATA requirements for the transport of diagnostic specimens and UN packing instruction 602 and 650. CE marked for diagnostic use.
