Penicillin-Streptomycin is is a dual antibiotic solution used to supplement cell culture media to control bacterial contamination. The antibiotics penicillin and streptomycin are used to prevent bacterial contamination of cell cultures due to their effective combined action against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. This solution contains 17,000 - 21,000 units/mL of penicillin and 18.0 - 23.0 mg/mL of streptomycin.
