The preparation of accurate and stable OP standards is complicated by their sensitivity to light, pH, heat, and water. Restek has overcome these issues through our ongoing research into OP pesticide mixtures to save your lab time and effort. Solvents are assayed to ensure low water content. Reference mixtures are stored in deactivated amber ampuls, under an inert atmosphere. Purity is determined by a combination of methods: GC-FID, HPLC, GC-ECD, GC-MS, LC-MS, refractive index, and melting point.
