Benzoic acid

BENZOIC ACID, CRYSTAL, USP, EP, BP, JP an aromatic crystalline solid that is colorless. It is used for medical purposes as a component of Whitfield's ointment, a treatment of fungal skin diseases, and can be used as a topical antiseptic.
