Transgenomic’s ICEme Kit is an in vitro assay that uses multiplexed PCR (MX PCR) followed by multiplexed ICE COLD-PCR (MX-ICP) for amplification and enrichment of mutations in KRAS Exons 2, 3 and 4, NRAS Exons 2, 3 and 4, BRAF Exons 11 and 15, PIK3CA Exons 9 and 20, EGFR Exons 12, 18, 19, 20 and 21.
- Non-Allele Specific
- Enriches ANY and ALL variants
- Suppresses wild-type while amplifying mutations
- Improves mutation detection sensitivity for any DNA sample
- Compatible with any sequencing platform
- LOD of mutations down to as low as 0.01%
- Can be incorporated easily into any laboratory work flow
Multiplexed ICE COLD-PCR (Improved and Complete Enrichment CO-amplification at Lower Denaturing temperature) technology preferentially enriches mutant DNA sequences in an excess of wild-type DNA through selective amplification. The result is up to a 500-fold increase in sensitivity in identifying mutations with the most precise sequence alteration detection rates available – down to 0.01%. The ICEme kits are compatible with DNA isolated from any sample type (tissue, blood, plasma, saliva, etc.) and are platform-independent, enabling analysis on ALL sequencing platforms (Sanger, NGS and ddPCR).
Ordering information: Kits with 8 or 24 reactions are available. All kits include MX PCR Primer Mix, MX-ICP Primers, RS-oligos, MX-ICP Positive Control, Polymerases, PCR Buffers and dNTPs.
