DuPont™ Tyvek® 400
- Composed of flash spun high density polyethylene which creates a unique, nonwoven material available only from DuPont
- Provides an ideal balance of protection, durability and comfort of any limited use fabric technology
- Offers an inherent barrier against particles (down to 1.0 micron in size)
- Applications include: lead and asbestos abatement/remediation, general maintenance/operations, spray painting, general clean-up.
DuPont™ Tyvek® 400 D
- Combines the protection, durability and comfort of DuPont™ Tyvek® fabric on the front and the comfort, softness and breathability of DuPont™ ProShield® 10 fabric on the back
- Suitable for applications where comfort requirements are combined with limited protective requirements for frontal exposures
- Applications include fiberglass and composite manufacturing, wind turbines, boat construction and repair, remediation, and maintenance
DuPont™ Tyvek® 500
- Composed of flash spun high density polyethylene which creates a unique, nonwoven material available only from DuPont
- Provides an ideal balance of protection, durability and comfort.
- Available with external serged seams that provide the performance of Type 5/6 garments, which have been tested to standards against light liquid aerosols and airborne solid particles
- Provides an effective barrier against particles (down to 1.0 micron in size)
- Suitable for applications such as pharmaceutical handling, chemical processing, automatic spray painting, maintenance and many others.
DuPont™ Tyvek® 600
- Composed of flash spun high density polyethylene which creates a unique, nonwoven material available only from DuPont
- Provides an ideal balance of protection, durability and comfort
- Available with serged and over-taped seams that provides the performance of Type 4/5/6 garments, which have been tested to standards against heavy liquid aerosols and airborne solid particles
- Provides an effective barrier against many water-based inorganic chemicals in low concentration and particles (down to 1.0 micron in size)
- Suitable for applications such as pharmaceutical manufacturing, medical applications, research and biosecurity laboratories, nuclear and maintenance
DuPont™ Tyvek® 800
- Combines resistance to low-concentration, water-based, inorganic chemicals (even under pressure) with the strength and durability of Tyvek® thanks to an innovative fabric technology and enhanced garment design
- Available with serged and over-taped seams that provide the performance of Type 3/4/5/6 garments, which have been tested to standards against pressurized liquids, heavy liquid aerosols and airborne solid particles
- Provides an effective barrier against many water-based inorganic chemicals in low concentration and particles (down to 1.0 micron in size), as well as oil repellency
- Suitable for applications such as industrial cleaning, chemical packaging and redistribution, waste treatment and disposal, and environmental remediation
