Unlike scalpels, biopsy punches manually extract full-thickness skin specimens in diagnostic applications while still maintaining the best cosmetic appearance. With a razor-sharp elliptical or circular blade, the instrument cleanly separates the desired section without tearing or pulling the surrounding skin. Collect tissue easily with styles featuring attached baskets or locking jaws that trap the sample in place when biopsy punch is removed. The tools are color coded based on diameter sizes for correct tool selection.
